Far-UVC: The Safe Indoor Air Solution.

Our Mission.

About Lit Thinking™.

Lit Thinking™ is a private technology firm that combines deep expertise in building technology and science, with a vision to make indoor environments safer for the world. Our mission is to utilize Far-UVC technology to re-establish society’s comfort or confidence to collaborate, socialize, and live their lives in the most effective, meaningful, and fulfilling ways.

Our core focus is the use of Ultraviolet-C (UVC) radiation to mitigate the risk of infection from airborne pathogens. While UVC is commonplace in food production, water purification and healthcare settings, a more specific wavelength, called Far-UVC, can be used very effectively in occupied spaces without harm to the human body. This promises to dramatically improve building health, reduce aerosolized pathogens, and transform the urban world we live in.

Founders.

Expertise. Resources. Experience.

Pioneers in Far-UVC Technologies.

Our founders have unsurpassed insight in real estate, technology, and market trends: Stephen M. Ross, Founder and Chairman of the Related Companies, one of the world’s largest real estate companies; Matt Higgins, Co-founder and CEO of RSE Ventures, which enables and equips technology startups with the insight and tools to be successful; John Rajchert, Co-Founder and CEO of Lit Thinking, brings 30 years of extensive experience in building infrastructure, particularly for organizations with complex needs, such as government, defense, hospitals, airports, commercial buildings, and social infrastructure.

Why Far-UVC?

An Intro to

UVC & Far-UVC Light

Ultraviolet (UV) light ranges between 400-100nm in wavelength. While most people are familiar with UVA and UVB due to their association with the sun’s rays, UVC has rapidly grown in awareness since the pandemic due to its incredible ability to inactivate pathogens rapidly and effectively as well as sterilization of air, tools, and equipment for hospitals.

The biggest disadvantage of traditional UVC is the risk factor to humans. Traditional UVC penetrates into skin and causes skin irritations, limiting its use to unoccupied rooms, contained situations, or upper room germicidal systems where people are not directly exposed to it.

As an alternative, Far-UVC has a shorter penetration depth (Krypton Chlorine excimer emitting 222nm), allowing for wider use. Far-UVC is unable to penetrate the tear layer of our eyes or the dead skin layer and is a human safe solution for occupied, insufficiently ventilated, high traffic spaces.

Meet Visium.

Visium™.

Continuously eliminates indoor pathogens.

Introducing the revolutionary solution from Lit Thinking™ that utilizes human-safe Far-UVC light to inactivate 99.9 percent of airborne viruses and bacteria silently and continuously.
